IRAN ALGAE 2023

The Iranian National Algae Culture Collection (INACC) is a company that develops unique algal uses in the fields of health, food, pharmaceuticals, energy, and the environment. With the COVID-19 outbreak in 2021, we decided to hold a virtual gathering of the Algae-related industry's forerunners and researchers to share and exchange knowledge at a time when communication, knowledge exchange, and the recruitment of young and fresh researchers had become significant obstacles.

Following the success of the 2021 and 2022 magnificent workshops in May, as well as the unique presence of national and international audiences and speakers, we are motivated to plan the third International Online Workshop in Science, Technology, Innovation, Commercialization, and Marketing of Algae (microalgae/macroalgae) Products and Services to share and exchange knowledge, ideas, and experiences from all around the world.

Algae are a type of photosynthetic organism that can be found in both saltwater and freshwater. Despite their simplicity, they have a wide range of uses in several industries. Algae are a renewable, sustainable, beneficial, and low-cost source of biofuels, bioactive medicinal chemicals, food components, and other products. Even though algae are a viable supply, there are still constraints and issues that must be addressed.
The Iranian National Algae Culture Collection (INACC) is pleased to host its 3rd international online workshop titled "THE GREENER, THE HAPPIER," which will be presented by representatives of pioneer companies and professors in related fields to share, provide and improve knowledge about algae and its applications. According to the previous Workshops, this is an opportunity that would be beneficial to provide a friendly environment for further connection not only for researchers, professors, and students but also for corporations.
